I started my interest in design when I was asked to make bridal shower bingo card for a cousin in my hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin when I was in 7th grade. I pursued that interest, which turned into a passion, by graduating with a BFA in Graphic Communications at Northern Michigan University in 2009.
Since then, I have worked for a wide range of companies including Kohls, Oracle, Cost Plus World Market, Cree Lighting, Williams-Sonoma, multiple agencies and startups in the Milwaukee and San Francisco Bay areas.
While a lot of my experience early in my career has been towards visual design, the past 8+ years my sights focused more towards user experience, interaction, and interface in my work.
When I am not behind a computer or sketch pad, I can either be traveling with my husband to various places, being active outdoors with my dogs, or pursuing one of many hobbies.
